I have a reasonably large xml file which holds the data for a single page. I am not sure exactly why it is so big actually - it only has a page of HTML markup.

Anyway it is around 80k, so I was wondering what methods I could use to speed things up, pehaps cache it.

I have tried using expires on the page which reads the xml, but this does not seem to be working.

The reason I say this is because it is a content editable page, and changes are showing up right away, this may or may not indicate the expires setting is working...

any ideas?
