I am trying to set up cachefs on HP-UX 11.11. My fstab entry is:

server7:/usr/oracle/ocommon /usr/oracle/ocommon/cache_test cachefs backfstype=nfs,cachedir=/cache_test/cache,demandconst 0 0

I get an error saying "mount failed, options do not match.". If I take out the demandconst, the mount works perfectly. I used ro as an option on both mount and on the export (on server7) with the same result. When I put in demandconst or noconst I get this error.

On both systems (Client and Server), I put the
NFS_TCP=1
line in /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf and then restarted the nfs.client and nfs.server deamons on both boxes to make sure we were running tcp and not udp. I get the same error.
What am I missing ?

Please help.
