I have apc in a remote location that connects to my network via VPN.
When I log in as user or administrator I get the message that a domain controller could not be contacted and that I am logged on using cached information.
However, I can browse all the PC's on the network access any folder and file and also Outlook works. Internet access is also OK
Does anyone know why this message is popping up and also am I logged in fully?
There does not appear to be any reason for this to appear. If I disconnect from the network from the dial up networking icon on my task bar and then reconnect, It says that I have successfully joined the domain and can access anything as if I was directly on the network.
