Is there a way to disable Cached Exchange mode for all users at one time either in Active Directory or on Exchange server or must I go to each computer and disable it from there? I believe a few computers may still have it enabled, but I am unsure of which.

Thanks,
J

You should be able to do something with a GPO, such as the opposite of:
But have you verified that your server and network can handle all the additional load of not using cached mode?

No.

Each time a user logs in, does the cached file download the newest data? I am looking for ways to decrease the time it takes for users to log in and this is one of the things I was considering.

Thanks

That would increase the workload on your server. Email would no longer be local, and each time a user opens an email, it would have to go to the server for it.

Cached mode on Exchange only comes into play after the user opens Outlook. It doesn't cache while the user is logging onto their computer.
