Cabling Pricing

Does any one have a good pricing structure for cabling. I'm new and just getting into the business and would like some input on the matter.

It really depends on options. UTP with PVC jacket is less than plenum jackets. Other options include steel cabling, water proofing, terminated, etc.

If all you want is standard cable with PVC or vinyl (sp?) jacket check out MCM Electronics (

I recently trained a friend who will now be doing all my cabling for me (Basic CAT 5 Plenum DATA) and he charges approx $95 a run up to 50ft.
