We would like to get internet access for our church office using cable. Is it possible to have a single cable line (AT&T @home service) coming into a cable router and using Exchange Server to handle the e-mail? Is this OK? How will the cable company like it?

Thanks in advance. Jim Lunde

If the cable company supports networks than it shouldn't be a problem. It would keep them from storing your emails on their server. But most cable companies do not. You'll have to check with them.

We have a guy in our church who is an MCSE, and he hooked us up using a standard cable account, a cable router, and Exchange server. All the mail is stored on our server, and everybody has internet access via cable. It works sweet, and we pay $39.95 mo. It is the only way we could have gotten broadband access. Thanks for the response. Jim Lunde
