cable modems

does anyone know how to correctly setup a router with a motorolla cable modem, as i have tried allsorts but know luck. Cant get info for settings only for american cable modems and im in UK.

Which Motorola? SB4100? If so, just come out of the RJ45 on the cable modem to the WAN port of the router. Then hook up your PC's to the router ports. That should take care of it. It's usually better to hook everything up with the power off and power up the cable modem last, so that the router will pull the IP address (i'm assuming you only get one from your ISP).
