previously in windows xp when i disconnect my cable modem either via the usb cable or unplugging the cable cable from the modem windows xp makes that sound. now however it resets the whole computer. FRUSTRATING because if my cable provider glitches or temp shuts down my whole comp reboots no matter wat im doing. is there a setting in windows xp? it didnt used to do this.
