I am trying to install 2 workstations to a single nod using a Belking UTP Cable Economiser. (2 Workstations connected to 1 nod, the nod goes to the server via a Hub). It seems that while connecting it, only 1 workstation send and receives data. The other has NO CONNECTION at all. I am using for both workstations CAT5e Patch Cables. Do I need a Crossover Cable?. Can someone advise me on my situation? THANKS

You need two economisers one at each end of the physical cable you are trying to split. two computers plug into one and it plugs into the wall. At the other end of that cable another miser plugs into the cable and two ports of the hub/switch plug int that.

Cable Economiser
Now there's a fancy name for a pair splitter....
