Any one still have a source for 25 and 75 pair amphinal cable covers. I have a couple of buldings that we still use 153,259,and 258A adaptors. I can only find 1 and they want to sell them in lots of 100.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Mikeydidit,
You did not mention the quantity or the source of the covers in your message, but Allen Tel Products made connector covers for 25/50/75/100 pair cables. I don't know if these are still available but the numbers I have are: GB-3292 cover for 50/75 prs, GB-3293 FOR 25 pr, GB-3295 Hinged cover for 25 pr. You can call them @ 714-546-3522 PST. Allen Tel is sold only thru Gray-Bar. Another company that made similar products is called Proto-Tel, but I don't have their number and I don't know if they still exist. They also made 66 series block covers. You may know who they are if you have been doing this stuff since the 1980s. I know Pacific Bell used their products alot back then and North Supply sold that stuff too.
The ones I used were the Harris/Dracon, which I liked the best, but Dracon became Chatsworth Products Inc and they don't make them anymore. When I come across any in the field that are in good condition I'll reuse them when needed or save them.

Hope this helps!

JIM

Thanks for the reply Jim. I did find them (again) through Chattsworth. I still had to order 100 25 pair covers and 25 for the 75 pair cables. This should last me for about, oh the next 20 years or so. Thanks again.
