Just bought myself a cable comb and I was wondering how you keep your numbers in order or at all? Just combing out from the service loop to the rack, all the cables are already numbered. Once you get to the end, won't you end up with a catastrophe of crossed cables? Or would you pick out each cable in order and one-by-one place into the comb?
I imagine there's a technique of putting the lowest ordered numbers in their rightful position where they will end up where you want them in the patch panel.
