*.cab files corrupt or damaged

HI People,

I have windows 95 upgrade(OSR2) on disks. I tried to reinstall it on my computer that had some problems. After inserting disk 2 I found that the two files precopy2.cab and win95_02.cab were corrupted. My mini.cab files are also damaged or corrupted. Where can I download these files or does someone have them on a disk that they can send to me as attachments?

Any help will be appreciated.
Microsoft is not offering these files on the net it would seem!

well of course they wouldnt offer them on the internet, since they are the instalation files for their OS that cost money, my best guess is to contact Microsoft, or to contact the people who sold you the upgrade diskettes.

Yes karl, but it truly is bad when this happens. Stiffy media has become so unreliable that I avoid it like foot & mouth disease. Jeremy has paid for the stuff and now its stuffed, so to speak. And there is no recourse. Jeremy, it's 01:00a.m. in my neck of the woods. E-mail me at info@compustore.co.za in 6 hours hours time, with the cab file names that you need, and I will e-mail them to you pronto.

If space allows, always copy your cab files to hard drive and install from there. Much easier, quicker and doesn't matter if your CD or floppies stuff up. [sig][/sig]
