CA Unicenter reporting of SAP R/3 batch

Hi,

I am invesigating the possibility of using a SAP agent to monitor & report on SAP R/3 batch failures. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to proceed.

I have zero SAP savvy, so please, no mega-technical answers!!
