We have an Urgent problem that I hope someone can help us with.
We have two domain servers for the same domain our exchange server and our CA server that also deals with the internet access.
a couple of weeks ago one of our Certificates Expired for OWA access and with that the VPN access went down. OWA was still working but saying their was an error. We tried generating a new Certificate following our instructions but after it was still picking up the old Certificate and VPN wasn't working. After days of playing we decided to delete the old certificate and after doing so our internet access went down instantly and a couple of errors. We tried all day yesterday trying to get the internet back up and after a full day of trying we decided to 'Restore System State' from our tape backup done Friday. When we come in this morning that server is now not alowd to connect to the domain and we cant do anything.
We have tried resetting the accounts / resettings the password / using this so called NetDom and its functions and nothing. We can't just remove it from the Domain and re attach it bec its the CA and thats not alowd to disconnect.
Can any one help us its just getting worse and worse.
