CA Brightstor Arcserve error w3716

We are sprotically getting an error on our server that says
"w3716 unable to write continuation block (ec=physical end of media)". This happens now and again. We cannot figure out what the problem is. We have Brightstor 9.0 build 2200. Our tape drive is a Sony AIT. I have seen a few fixes on CA's website, but they are for version 11.1 or 11.5. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks for the help in advance!

I think it will be necessary to open an issue with CA to get a fix for the 9.0 version.
