C3508G-XL with LX/LH GBIC Module ?

We have a Catalyst 3508G-XL with some GBIC FiberOptic modules

Tried to connect to provider switch on another floor, to their LX/LH FO Interface.

Problem is, it didn't connect.

Troubleshooting:
1. Put LX/LH module on C2900, connect OK.
So, FO Cable and the LX/LH module works fine.

2. Put SX on C3508, try to reach another SX, connect OK.
So, the GBIC slot and Switching works fine.

Seems like the LX/LH module does not want to work on the C3508. "show ver" etc correctly shown that the IOS detected the LX/LH module.


Currently, we decided to use the C2900 with the LX/LH module for that connection, and already in production mode, so we cannot do another test/trial with that particular module and connection. However, we are 'stuck' with the C3508, and unsure if there is something wrong with it (because SX to SX test works OK, and no more LX/LH module available for trial).

Any suggestion for further troubleshooting?
Any idea on what might caused this?

Give us the results of a "sh int" on the interface with the LH module inserted...?
