I have a C-2980G switch that is getting bombed (console connected only) with messages like this:
55.539017 newTxPacket: On conn 4026ff10 posting 11, head is 0, num 0
1357.884006 newTxPacket: On conn 4026ff10 posting 3401, head is 0, num 0
1357.892001 newTxPacket: On conn 4025af10 posting 3402, head is 0, num 0
1358.648007 newTxPacket: On conn 4026ff10 posting 3403, head is 0, num 0
1358.656001 newTxPacket: On conn 4025af10 posting 3404, head is 0, num 0
1359.416007 newTxPacket: On conn 4026ff10 posting 3405, head is 0, num 0
1359.424001 newTxPacket: On conn 4025af10 posting 3406, head is 0, num 0
1360.184005 newTxPacket: On conn 4026ff10 posting 3407, head is 0, num 0
1360.192001 newTxPacket: On conn 4025af10 posting 3408, head is 0, num 0
1360.948007 newTxPacket: On conn 4026ff10 posting 3409, head is 0, num 0
1360.956001 newTxPacket: On conn 4025af10 posting 3410, head is 0, num 0
1361.712016 newTxPacket: On conn 4026ff10 posting 3411, head is 0, num 0
1361.720001 newTxPacket: On conn 4025af10 posting 3412, head is 0, num 0
1362.486006 newTxPacket: On conn 4026ff10 posting 3413, head is 0, num 0
etc, ad infinitum
What gives? I did a clear config all, set config mode text nvram, wr mem, and still the messages appear. I cannot seem to set int sc0 ip address/mask, set int sc0 enable (in other words, I cannot set it to telnet to it), and I also did set logging console disable, set spantree disable all, and still the messages...
What gives? Vipergg---ever see this?
