C110 with 8.0(30) and SIP woes 1

Can anyone who is part of the C110/96x1 trial verify a bug that I reported on the PI site causing outbound SIP trunk calls to drop at right around 33 seconds?

Also if possible can you test this with a digital and/or analog set?

Kyle, I should have time to test today.

I have an IP500 as my home system, and a beta kit with the c110.

When the beta kit is at home, it is the centralized VM Pro.

If i direct calls from the first system to the second, will that be good enough for testing, or do i need to put the c110 in the mail system?


 
Fault seems to be with the R8.0(30) core software and has nothing to do with the C110 itself.

You aren't lucky with your sip trunks.
I think you have issues every trial :)

Kyle,

can you post a trace of the SIP messages?

I found that if the source ports on the SIP signalling werent correct - i.e 5060 then the calls would terminate after 30 secs due to NAT timers closing the sessions down!

Yup, did it for me to.
Outbound is fine. Inbound drops at 30 seconds.

I am using Flowroute.com for SIP.


 
It runs fine on 8.0.16 but not on 8.0.30. I have upgraded and downgraded 3 times and every time it goes right back to working brilliantly on 8.0.16 but outbound breaks at the 33 seconds mark on 8.0(30) every time.

Done. And I got a buddy to validate that the issue is there with Digital and analog sets as well.

I have other issues.

I cannot put back a backup from 1XP at all
And second, i cannot use user variables because i when i pull the vmpro database to the client, all the user variables are empty.

I have the user variable issue on the 8.0 GA release when running Linux VM Pro. Works fine on the Windows version, but the variables magically disappear on the Linux version.
 
Found out that so long as the C110 is inserted into the 500 it will be the VM server. You can change the IP and reboot but when it comes back up it changes the IP of the VM server back to 169.250.0.2.

Took me a bit to figure that out after I downgraded.

I took it out.
I cannot do without the user variables.
The old vm and 1XP is running again.
