Hi, i am trying to enter the setup of terminal but with no luck. When I press F10 and then F8 terminal should go to setupscreen but it doesn't. I've switched the keyboard so there are no dead keys etc. Screen is also diffrent from other similar terminals, it has black background color and white fg. It also has somekind of status line in first row.

Is my terminal in some wierd mode or something and how can I make it normal. BTW. terminal is working ok, I just need to change some setup values.

Thank you in advance

JE

Sounds like you need to do a "hard" reset. From "C1099A Alphanumeric Terminal Quck Start Guide", HP p/n C1099-90006 (2000), page 3:

Hard Reset (Power on) - Ctrl+Shift+Scroll Lock
(For emulations other than HPTerm - Ctrl+Shift+Scroll Lock)
All terminal parameters are initialized. It also performs reset pages and default modes. Reverts to all terminal and sesion settings that were saved in non-volatile memory.

Well I already tried that one, didn't help. My terminal goes staight to this state when I boot it up. It seems that terminal just doesn't "see" my key stirkes. I have tried this F10 + F8 on my other terminals and they work fine.
