Hello all,

Today I turned on my POS system to print out the daily report and this message popped up.
The POS system works fine but C000005 error message pops up when I try to print.
I am not so great with computers like you guys.
It would be greatly appreciated if I can get some help.

If any report fails with a C5 fatal exception, it's likely the frx&frt report files or any of the data tables it reads are corrupt.

So what you can try as a user is to reinstall to repair the executables and the report. If the POS system continues to error there's likely something with the data, so you can try to restore a backup, which you hopefully have. Before restoring old data, do a backup of the current data to see what can be saved from it. There's not much else to see from that single error message, to see what the problem is.

So everything further is a job for the vendor to try and help you.

Bye, Olaf.

another thing to try is to change the 'default' printer. and see if you get the same error.

that happend alot in my own pos applicaiton, and usually the printer driver was the culprit.

i use the xfrx engine, and the error seems to go away. also, try the foxypreviewer from vfpx
