Hi, am a beginner in c programming and would like some basic reference materials which i can use to teach myself c- programming.

Thanks.

Are you a programmer in another language? There is a big difference between learning another language and learning yor first language, because most of learning your first language is learning how to program (i.e. variables, procedures, looping, compiling, etc.).

Hi brudnakm

Thanks for your reply. Am not a programmer in any language, I just want to learn my first language. However, I have writen some simple databases in MS access using SQL query builders.

Thanks

the best book i've ever found for beginners is "Let Us C" by "Yashwant P Kanetkar". It starts frm scratch, goes upto quite a high level, and covers all pitfalls that ppl usually fall into. its very simple to read.

luv
Karthik.
