C# programmer who is new to Mitel

I am a veteran C prorammer currently working in the C# (.NET) space making heavy use of web services. I work with a client who is a Mitel distributor and am completing some applications for him. At this time I need to light the message waiting light on the phones attached to the Mitel 3300 ICP. I would like to accomplish without the MiTai interface if possible. Oh this is a SIP interface. Any suggestions or pointers?

I will gladly repay any advice with C web service answers or assistance.
