C# problem with a AppDomain level Singleton

I have an ASP .NET (written in C#) application which opens two singletons as it starts. In normal times all is well and users access their information without problems. But when a sessions times out for a user it seems that at least one of the Singleton becomes NULL for the others.

Not sure what to do or test

not sure why that happens, but why do you need a singleton? There are other options that may work for you
