Hi all,

Does Microsoft Visual C# .net require specifically Windows XP Professional to install correctly? Or will it install under Windows XP Home Edition?

Thanks,
Heleen

Any dot net IDE should install (and work) on anything later than win 95 (non-inclusive).
However, if it were down to me I would choose Professional over home.

You shouldn't have any problems on Windows 2000 or later. Some people have reported problems on NT4SP6 when trying to create projects dependent on IIS.

I doubt that Visual Studio will install on any of the Windows 9x products, and I wouldn't even try, myself.
