I can't load windows because of a corrupt file (windows\system32\config\system). When I go into the recovery console, I get dumped to a minint\system32 directory. Does any one know what this is? I've done numerous searches but can't find much - and nothing that relates to what I'm trying to do. I found one post where someone mentioned you can't use DOS commands in XP??? I tried his suggestion of DISKPART and got this (among other things):
Microsoft DiskPart version 1.0
On Computer: MININT-JVC

what is this???
