Good Afternoon

I want to add a C-Lan link on an older Definity G3SI, version 9. I want the link to provide ASA access for the customer instead of having to use dial-up over the INADS line.

The site has one TN799 C-LAN card installed. Problem: they are currently using the C-LAN card for their Guestworks integration using a Node Name with an internal IP. When I try to add an external IP for the ASA access, the system won't let me add it.

Question, is there a way to share the single C-Lan card in the system for both general C-Lan functions and the voicemail integration, or do they need to acquire an additional C-Lan card??

This might be a stupid question, and I apologize if it is.

You need R9.5 to use SAT over c-lan. Boards are cheap <$40 on ebay.

Yes, 1 board can support multiple functions but it can only have 1 IP. You would have to point an external IP to the internal IP if you want to use that same board.
