Does anyone know if there is a way to increase the connections limit in an Avaya G3R version 9.5? We are being told the connection limit is 8 no matter how many c-lan cards you have and the dedicated connections are (1 SAT on the PPN, 1 SAT on an EPN, BCMSVU, And lucent/Inads connection, leaving us with 4. Any info. is appreciated. Thanks

The only thing that I can think of doing is get another CLAN or upgrade to an S8700. Both of which are not budget friendly, but I think it is the only choices you have.

We have about 15 people in our Telecom Department and about half of them make changes within the Avaya system. I am looking for any way possible to have 6 or more people logged into the Avaya at a time and/or looking for a way to set a timeout parameter. Thanks

There's a 30 minute inactvity timeout on the logins is what I recently found out.

You want to have 8 people making changes at the same time? Ouch! In the past I've found that the more hands in the pot, the harder to tell who threw too much salt in, but if it's working out, great. :)

I thought perhaps you were looking for BCMS data displays (for group managers, etc.), in which case there is a 3rd party BCMS reporting product that wouldn't be constrained by these limits. Where did you get the info on the 8 connection limit? Have you verified by trying it out?
