C drive wrong capacity info??

Hello,

I have a strange situation here.When i right click c drive to check the free capacity I take 32 GB total and 13.5 Gb free.

But when I open C drive ,select all contain files(including hidden ones) i get 7. 92 used space.
Thats a difference of almost 18 GB used space.

Any idea why this is happening?

OS : WIN XP SP2
NTFS partition

Have you emptied the trash recently, and are you adding the space used for virtual memory?
