C Drive has been Write Protected..... this just happened

I cannot defragment my C Drive because it is write protected. How this just happened I do not know. I must defragment my system now..... Can anyone help me Remove the Write Protected Feature?

Some one mentioned trying this>> Can you Log in as Administrator. Open MyComputer. Right click on the C drive and select properties. Select the Security tab and make sure that all permissions are allowed.
