C Compiler on AIX

Hi,

I need to download and install C compiler on my AIX machine , from where can i get it and how to install the same, also i need APAR - IX79377 and PTF - U457437
patches i could not find on ibm website. my aix version is 4.3 , on one of my aix (4.3.3) APAr is there but PTF is not there , or if its there how do i find out, from smit i could find APAr installed. For < 4.3 i need c compiler and also the above two patches, from where and how do i install it... kindly advice iam a newbie to AIx environment

For the APAR and PTF, go to IBM's Fix Central and navigate to where you can download them:

Also, for software for a system that is less than 4.3.3, you could try

http://www.bullfreeware.com/.

But I don't think you will find any patches for a system that old. IBM's support for systems that old stopped long ago.

Thanks bi, its a useful site from this i could download PTF fix.. and its a fileset, how do i install this PTF i mean what command i need to use for installing ( there r 2 fileset it is saying) and also where can i get C compiler for my aix, i mean to download and install..
