C Compiler for AIX 5.3

I am trying to install sudo 1.7.0 on aix 5.3 and am getting his error
"configure: error: no acceptable C compiler"
Where can I get C compiler for AIX 5.3

IBM's C for AIX is "fee"...
Gnu C compiler is "free"...
It should be on your "AIX Toolbox for Linux Applications" CD or look here:

At first i was saying "why sudo needs an AIX C compiler"! But it seems that gcc is a prerequisite installation requirement. I went through this "Sudo Readme" link:

you can also just get the sudo rpm out there instead of compiling it.

I downloaded sudo-1.6.9p15-2.aix5.2.ppc.rpm, I have never downloaded rpm on aix, how to I install this rpm sudo package on aix ?

I tried the following command and get
# rpm -ihv sudo-1.6.9p15-2.aix5.2.ppc.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
openldap is needed by sudo-1.6.9p15-2
liblber.a(liblber.so.2) is needed by sudo-1.6.9p15-2
libldap.a(libldap.so.2) is needed by sudo-1.6.9p15-2

Oh yeah that's how rpm installation works!

You will have to install openldap!

Suggestion: if you are going to install sudo, why don't you choose the latest stable version 1.7 instead?

When you finish installing sudo, you will need this document to configure your /etc/sudoers file!
