I saw lots of Certification, CCNA , MCSE, MCSD, Sun (JAVA). Why there is no C/C++ CER?

I really want to know if there is any certification for C/C++.

When you do your MCSD you can take C++ options.

Looking at al teh exams you have listed above, they are all Manufacturer specific, not necessarily language specific.

I'd guess that as it is taught at universities and colleges, most of the institutions that could implement a C++ certificate don' see the need. But as Java is relatively new, there is a need for people that have already qualified to prove that they have a certain level of competence.

Most major colleges and Universities teach C/ C++ in their coursework for engineering. C is the easiest to learn and most powerful for programmers. Also, while in an interview, people who want you to know C will ask "Do you know C?"

There really aren't certifications that I know of.
