C# and PERL

Has anyone successfully embedded the PERL interpreter into a C# program?

I would like to make a class that is an interface with PERL. I would like to harness the power of PERL's text parusing capabilities into a C# class.

I think this would be of value to both communities.

Any suggestions on where to start or things you have accomplished let me know..

I think you could do it using sockets or COM interfaces. As I remember, there was a tool which transform .pl code to COM objects there:
