Hello,

I would be grateful if you could provide some informations regarding data acquisition via a USB port.

In fact I am blocked at this level.....

How can I by myself start data acquisition from a USB port by pressing the space key and then later by pressing once again stopping the dta acquition.

Note: the data should be recorded in a *.txt file.

Thanks a lot.

There's a whole section on data acquisition.

Well that really depends on the USB device in question.
My guess is you send some command to start the data flow, then sometime later send another command to stop it.
