Greetings,

We are on Netware 4.1 with numurous W9x workstations. Client 3.1.0 is used on all ws. Setting primary login to Windows logon, the client still appears. I know this is normal, however, on certain workstations canceling out of the client does not permitt you to log on to windows locally.

I would like the option of loging into NDS or just working locally in windows. Why does this work on some work stations and not others? Client properties are the same.

Any suggestions ????

Thanks for the time,
Lfoldesi

oNE ITEM YOU MAY WANT TO CHECK IS THE BUILD VERSION OF THE CLIENT. JUST BECAUSE IT SAYS CLIENT 3.10 does not necessarily mean that it is identicle to another 3.10 client. We had an issue with the 2.50 client and a NW 5 server where some users could attach to a print queue and others could not, found out that the builds were actually different in the Novell client. Novell makes updates or changes without changing the version number, so that is probably why logging into a win9x box works on one machine but not another by bypassing the login. Worth checking into..
