Bypass proxy server

Hi everyone,

I am new to VPNs.
I have a LAN made up of win98 clients and I use a proxy server (Proxy+ namely) running on a win2k machine to access Internet from any other station. My win2k server has ISDN-128 Internet connection.
Can I setup a win98 client to dial to a VPN server in the "outside world"?
That is can I bypass the proxy server and how?
