I had a power supply and fan alarm on our Octel 250. Repalced the fan, but vendor sent the wrong power supply. There are three power supply in the Octel 250 and it was running on two. Is there a way of getting through the boot cycle with a powersupply failure alarm until I receive a new power supply ?
alarm
7C/1 power supply failure

I tried entering A at the prompt but it ignored it.
Thanks

Do a ctrl c when the system starts the dram walking test and then boot with an a

As a support tech. This and the fan issue has always been a PAIN with ARIAs. I have found that if you boot into the Diagnostic mode and type CLEAR it clears the alarms. However, I would have a technician do this, as you can screw everything up if you dont know what your doing. I have done this many times over the years and it works like a charm. GOOD LUCK!

That is the way to get around a power alarm from diagnostics.
