maybe I am not searching this right, because I know this has been addressed. I have a customer that wants to just dial a number instead of 9 first, and they want to use the call log feature and dial from voice mail features, which don't work unless you first grab a line. My assumption is that I am going to have to build short codes for 011, 1+, and the two local area codes to just grab an available line when dialed. But how is the actual code built?

N;
dial
N
line ID whatever you use

this will cover all numbers but will wait for the dial timeout and if you have extensions starting with the same as your local number or your area code or even the 100 range you are in trouble

We have extensions starting at 200. So If I just wanted to dial long distance calls, and then 303 & 720 area code calls, wouldn't it look like this...

1xxxxxxxxxx
1N
Line Group 50

720xxxxxxx
720N
Ling Group 50

303xxxxxxx
303N
Line Group 50

This is what I have setup and it seems to work just fine.
