By mistake dev/dsk/ files got deleted

Hi,

If /dev/dsk/ files got deleted, how can we restore that?

The system is showing hard driveis corrupted. Can someone help me to fix this problem.

ooh, this is ugly. what devices were they? you may not have even needed them, /dev is populated with every concievable device you could attach to a linux system, but that doesn't mean you'll ever use them. if you have any idea what devices were deleted, look for the file devices.txt in your kernel source and it should tell you how to create new devices. again, you may not need to.

To rebuild the links execute the following:

devfsadm -C

Or from the ok prompt:

ok boot -r
