Buzz sound when call comes in while on line

Hi all, have a 8.0 proc. partner system. Our service went down yesterday and when it came back up we have a weird problem. If i am on the phone on ext 10 talking to a customer and another call comes in, me and the person i am on the phone with hear a 1 second long buzz sound every 5 seconds. Any ideas what this could be?

By service are you referring to the dial tone provider or did you system dump?

That would be the ring pattern of an incoming call. You can try to power cycle the phone system to see if it clears.
