I need to purchase 'Zurich Small Bold' in OpenType formate, however have had no luck locating it for sale.. I'm guessing this is beacause it is a system fornt...

You have to be careful with opentype fonts. There are 2 types. The truetype kind can be opentype and have the ".ttf" extension. The postscript kind will have ".otf".
Sound confusing? Yep, it is.
Bitstream, who happens to be the publisher of the Zurich family, has a pretty complete explanation of opentype on their site. You'll also be able to find all available faces of the font there.
