Buying a new computer for Graphics station-PC

Any suggestions, cost doesn't matter?

Do the "high-end" gaming stations cover all of our needs for computer graphics i.e. Adobe package/ Flash/ Dreamweaver?

The gaming stations usually have a strong emphasis on the video card. This is not necessary for graphics programs and I have even read it may be detrimental (although can't remember why). The important issues are lots of RAM, a powerful processor, big hard drive, and a really good monitor (or two).
