buttons

I constructed new buttons for a website Ive been working on. The buttons are round with a little glowing edge that lights up behind when the mouse rolls over. It works fine on the stage but when I open up the movie player to play it back the buttons don't work right, they only light up when you touch just the edge. Also, everything is moving very slow.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

as far as everything moving very slow..maybe you can right click on the main movie, goto properties, and change the frames per sec..adjust it according to the speed you require..as far as the buttons, you need to right click on the button itself and go to the button editor..right click on the hit frame and insert blank keyframe..in that keyframe draw a circle over your button(actually bigger than the button)..this will increase the hitstage of your buttons..therefor they will react better for you on mouse over..
