We have Symposium v5.0 with SWC 4.5. A recently discovered flaw in IE has been reacted to by our IT dept with disabling of scripts in Internet Zone sites.

Even though the Symposium site is part of our Local Intranet Zone and ActiveX can be set to enable, some buttons are no longer working. They all worked prior to the recent changes to IE policy.

The "Update Selected Criteria" button in Historical reporting does not activate when criteria are chosen. In CCM, we can list the agents, but selecting a link to try to update the agent does not work. I can get to the agent screen from the tree in the Supervisor view, but cannot update skillset levels.

Changing the skillset level does not activate the "Submit" button. The button will, however, activate if I change something like "Title", although the skillset levels still will not be updated after submitting.

Is there an IE setting or something in Symposium that I am missing? Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks.

I have found that something is causing this frame to act as part of the Internet Zone. Re-enabling "Active Scripting" in the Internet Zone makes everything work properly again.

The properties of the frame say that it should be part of our Local Zone, but it is not treated as such.

where *.Server.Domain is in the Local Intranet.
