Buttons running mclips have failed

All buttons which run mclips (eg with action - on (press) {
_root.mclip.play(2);} have failed to work when I publish my Flash movie.
All buttons worked on the same movie last time I published it, now have failed, any ideas?

ps - everything works fine when I test movie in Flash (f12)

I've Isolated the problem to only not working when, opened from windows explorer, so maybe some prob there

You must be talking MAC & IE... Because it works for me with Windows and IE!

I think it must be a system problem, the swf works when loaded in flash, works when uploaded, then loaded from url, works on stand alone player, works on real player, but when dclicked in windows explorer - no action. I dont think there could be a problem with the .swf file itself.

Think it's a problem with IE on MAC! Have you tried it with NS?
