I like to check my email on my ISP's web site. I can view my mail Inbox and Folders fine, but when I click to select a message, then click on MOVE (to another folder) or DELETE (to delete the message), nothing happens. These and the other buttons across the top just stopped working a few days ago. Nothing has changed recently on the computer. This is IE 6 on an XP Home PC. Any ideas what could have happened and how to resolve it? Thanks.

First off try delete cookies and all ie temp files as well as temp folders. Second make sure banner or pop up blocking isnt enabled on any firewalls you have such as norton or zone alarm. Let us know if this helps.

I deleted all the cookies, temp files, and the TEMP and TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES folders under my profile in Documents and Settings. I do not have a pop up blocker on this PC. Still have the same problem though. I did install Firefox this morning and it works fine. I can just use Firefox unless you have any more suggesetions. Thanks.

Yeah install the newest version of flash for internet explorer , actually best if you completely remove the version you have and install the newest version. See if that works.

That unfortunately didn't work either. I found quite a bit of spyware on this PC last night and removed it according to my spyware cleaners. I wonder if the spyware messed this up?

it is possible that it did i would recommend to repair Ie and windows click start>run> type "sfc /scannow" (without quotes) and have ready your xp cd you might need it.

let us know what happens.

My CD ROM is acting up so I'm not able to run this test at this time. I'll just settle for using Firefox. Thanks much for your help.
