I am being plagued by some old Excel Applications here recently. The Active X buttons that I have placed on various sheets are moving when users print. My favorite is when all the buttons decide to stack up on top of each other and then the application is unusable until I go back and manually move them back.

I have had tried looping through the application worksheets on open and set the top and left so that the user only needs to close and reopen when this happens but in my 2007 it doesn't seem to want to move the button.

Any seen this happen? It has been happening for years but just recently with 2003 & 2007 it has been happening all the time.

Hi,

Check the format control Properties tab.

Select Don't move or size with cells

Skip,

Small Medium at Large[tongue][/sub]

Other option besides the move or size with cells property.

Instead of putting the buttons on the excel sheet. Create an excel add-in. Add it to a menu.

Benefits = Annoying stacking problems go away.
Screen is clean for use of entire sheet.
Much cleaner way of working with it.
