Let me get this straight. If I want to have two buttons pop up or what ever with a mouse over or click, do I need to make each button first and then make the last button and have the buttons I made at first in the actions of the first button right? I'm just working on something small and I tried that and the button worked but every time I moved the mouse over the other button that popped out it goes back? I make the hit area bigger and if I move the mouse over the hit area it jumps out but the hit area is over the button that's right below (ie. links on the left, 4, each button has buttons that come out, but the hit area is over the link right below the other links.) If that makes since... I don't know if it does or not... If not, I'll upload the demo some time. Melocco......

create all your buttons

>>>label frame1 "start" and label frame5 (or whatever) "over"
>>>put all your menu buttons in frame5 as well as a copy of your original button (or just extend the frames after your main button if its on its own layer).

I just bought a book today. The Macromedia Flash 5 Bible.
It's as big as a D.A.M.N. phone book. Hard cover and more. I'm going to have to read it this weekend (atleast try to start). I also got Dreamweaverultradev. I'm going to work with it to. But I want to learn to use flash first.
