I have 4 button in my movie. When you click eitherone of them, they sorta fade out (the same for each button), but after the fade, each button should display different a movie clip. Do I have to make the same fade 4 times, followed by the 4 different movie clips, or can I just have 1 time the fade and then the 4 different movie clips? The fade is quite complicated and takes very long to make or copy.

as a simple suggestion why dont you duplicate the movie clip 4 times and (I take it you have a tell target function at the end of the button fade to start the movies) instruct each of the movies to play individually.
