I have two vertical frames. How do I set a button in one of the frames to re-adjust the widths of the frames? I have disabled the ability to drag out the frame to a different size.

For example, one frame has more text in it than the other frame, so change the ratio from 50%, 50% to 30%, 70%?

I'd like a button which can do it for me as well.

Thanks,
Dan

this problem is beyond the scope of html. buttons in html merely submit information to the resulting page, they dont actually "do" anything. you'll need some kind of scripting language. id imagine javascript would work although i dont know the details. my knowledge is in php and i know its possible with that. just about everything is. what we see depends mainly on what we're looking for.

actually i think they're might be a way. im not 100% but you could write seperate files with the corresponding frame sizes, you could have a button submit an emtpy form to the corresponding page. its been awhile since i did pure HTML but i think that ought to work. what we see depends mainly on what we're looking for.
